Purpose

 

This tool estimates the monthly average number of ships detected from SAR in a certain area, if two or more acquisitions are available.

 

Technical Note

 

The monthly average number of ships is computed on a geographic region if an AOI is included in the Optional File. In case the AOI is not included the statistic is computed on the whole input of ships.

 

Input Files

 

Input file list

Two or more shapefiles from Ship Detection output or SAR AIS matching output or more areas referring to different time intervals. This file is mandatory.

 

Optional Files

 

Geographic Region

Shapefile or kml file. If not included, statistics on the whole input of ships, otherwise on ships that fall within of AOI.

 

Output Files

 

Output Root Name

Name of the output root to create a text file (.csv) where statistics are reported. A bar chart is displayed based on this statistics. This file is mandatory.

Exec

The processing step is executed.

 

Store Batch        

The processing step is stored in the batch list. The Batch Browser button allows to load the batch processing list.

 

Close        

The window will be closed.
