Purpose

 

This panel is used to set the parameters for a Nuclear Explosion, derived from the Point Pressure source.

 

Technical Note

 

The model used to predict the displacement induced by a nuclear explosion exploits empirical relationships between volume variation and kilotons. Refer to the Point Pressure (Mogi) source for an overview of the characteristics, assuming kilotons instead of volume variation.

This source is only available in the Non-Linear inversion and Forward modeling panels.
