Purpose
This tool enables to mosaic Sentinel-1 Slant Range or Ground Range (i.e. not geocoded) SAR products (_slc_list, _gr), which have been independently imported in SARscape along the same orbit and with the same viewing geometry.
Technical Note
This functionality is intended to generate a single file, in the original SAR viewing geometry, from a set of independently imported frames. Even if this functionality is conceived especially for Slant Range products, it is also suitable for Ground Range data; in this last case the program first performs a transformation from ground to slant geometry and then the mosaic is generated in the slant "rebuilt" geometry.
It is important to outline that this tool does not take into account doppler variations from one to the other frame along the mosaicked segment. This means that, if such variations exist in the mosaiced frames, the resulting product is not suitable for interferometric processing.
Input Files
Input file list
Input file list of the slant or ground range data (_slc_list, _gr). This file list is mandatory.
Optional Files
Area of interest in Geographic Coordinates
A vector file (.shp), or a Google Earth file (.kml or .kmz) can be upload to specify a region of interest.
This input reduces the disk space needs. This file is optional.
Note: Only AOI files in geographic coordinates (Lat/Long) are supported. If the needed shapefile is available only in another cartographic system, please use the Cartographic Transformation Shape tool to convert it in Lat/Long.
