Purpose
The aim of this tool is to convert Slant Range, Georeferenced, GEC or Geocoded products in Ground Range coordinates.
Technical Note
The output ground range file is reprojected over an ellipsoidal variable average height (function of the acquisition time) and has the same polynomial format used by ESA for the generation of sentinel 1 ground range products.
Input Files
Input file
Input File name of the image that need to be converted in Ground Range coordinates. The following data formats are accepted: Slant Range, Georeference, GEC or Geocoded format. This file is mandatory.
Optional Files
Geometry GCP file
Either a previously created Ground Control Point file (.xml) is loaded (Load GCP file) or the interface to create a new Ground Control Point file is automatically loaded (Create GCP file, refer to the "Tools>Generate Ground Control Point" for details). This file is optional.
Conversion DEM File
DEM file used to generate the input geocoded product. This file is optional, note that in case this file is not uploaded and the input geocoded product has been generated using a DEM, the slant range projection is not precise. The Conversion DEM file is typically in geocoded geometry but a slant range DEM is also accepted (eg. srdem generated by the interferometric processing). Please note that the Slant Range DEM file must have the same dimensions of the Input file. For Slant Range, GEC and Georeference, this file must not be uploaded; for these files only the Reference Height is required.
Parameters - Principal Parameters
Input File Reference Height
This reference height consists of the height used to generate the input file (Georeferenced or GEC). In case the input file consist of a geocoded product, and the Conversion DEM is uploaded, this parameter is not considered.
This parameter is applied only in case the sml file of the Input file does not contain information regarding the Reference Height.
Radiometric Calibration
By setting true this parameter radiometric calibration is performed.
Ground Range Grid Size [m]
Gird size of the output data in Ground Range coordinates.
Parameters - Global
It brings to the general section of the Preferences parameters. Any modified value will be used and stored for further processing sessions.
Parameters - Other Parameters
It brings to the general section of the Preferences parameters. Any modified value will be used and stored for further processing sessions.
Output Files
Output file
Output file name of the ground range projected data. This file is mandatory.
_rsp
Data ground range SAR geometry and associated header files (.hdr, .sml).
Details specific to the Units of Measure and Nomenclature of the output products can be found in the Data Format section.
