Set Preferences

To set ENVI LiDAR preferences, select File > Preferences from the menu bar.

Edit the preferences as needed, and click OK for the new settings to take effect. To return all preferences to their default settings, click Reset.

Description

Load Last Project at Startup

Enable or disable automatically loading the project that was open in the previous ENVI LiDAR session. This check box is disabled by default.

Show Splash Screen at Startup

Enable or disable showing the splash screen at application startup. This check box is disabled by default.

Show Detailed Reports

Enable or disable showing a detailed report that can be used for debugging in the Operations Log. This check box is disabled by default.

After Processing Enter into QA Mode

Enable or disable automatically switching the Main window view into QA Mode view when processing is complete. This check box is enabled by default.

QA Grid Size

Sets the size of each block viewed during QA. The maximum setting is 500x500 meters; however, smaller rectangles provide faster response time for processing. The default is 150x150.

Classified Data Colors

Sets the display colors for classified point and vector layers. To choose a different color, click the corresponding color button to open the Color dialog.

Render Preferences

Sets the display colors for the correction markers, cross section line, selection, precision test points marker, and the background colors of the Main window. To choose a different color, click the corresponding color button to open the Color dialog.

Main Window Point Size

Sets the display size of the points in the Main window. The default is Large.

Cross Section Window Point Size

Sets the display size of the points in the cross section window. The default is Large.

Line Width

Sets the width of the displayed vector lines. The default is 2.

Use Terrain Texture for Roofs

Enable or disable using the building roof color from the LiDAR intensity or RGB in this location. When disabled, a default color is used on roofs. This check box is enabled by default.
