Purpose
The tomographic slice functionality allows the generation of a vertical slice withing the tomogram. The slice can be performed along a given row and/or column. The tomogram within which to generate the slice can be either in SAR geometry or geocoded.
Input Files
Input File
Metadata file containing the list of horizontal layers forming the tomogram. The geocoded tomogram metafile is located inside the Geocoding directory. The SAR geometry tomogram metafile is located inside the Second Inversion directory. In both cases the directory is located under the main directory of a previously completed tomographic processing. This input is mandatory.
Principal Parameters
The vertical slice can be performed along a row and/or a column. If both a column and a row index are selected in the relevant input fields, two distinct vertical slices will be generated.
Column Index
For generating the slice along a column, Type in the “Column index” field the index of the column along which the vertical slice of the tomogram will be generated. The column index set by the user must be an integer number greater or equal to 0 and less than the number of any tomogram horizontal layer image columns.
Row Index
For generating the slice along a row, type in the “Row index” field the index of the row along which the vertical slice of the tomogram will be generated. The row index set by the user must be an integer number greater or equal to 0 and less than the number of any tomogram horizontal layer raster image rows.
The number of columns and rows of any tomogram horizontal layer can be found in the .hdr file.
By the default each one of the two input fields is filled with the integer number -1 which means that the slice will not be performed.
Output Files
Output File Name
Starting part of the output file name at the end of which the suffix _tomogram_slice is appended automatically. The specification of the output file name file is mandatory.
